Ordering & Payment

Do I need an account to place an order?+

Yes, an account is required. This lets us tie order history, tracking, and COA references to your profile so you can access them at any time from My Account.

What payment methods do you accept?+

We accept all major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover — processed securely through Stripe. Payment card details are never stored on our servers.

Can I cancel my order after placing it?+

Orders cannot be cancelled once placed. All sales are final. Please review your order carefully before completing checkout. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, see our Shipping & Returns policy.

Do you offer discounts or promo codes?+

We occasionally run promotions for new customers. Promo codes can be entered on the cart page before checkout. Watch our social channels for announcements.

Products & Quality

What does "research use only" mean?+

Our compounds are sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory and scientific research purposes. They are not approved by the FDA for human or veterinary use. By purchasing, you confirm you are a qualified researcher complying with all applicable laws.

What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?+

A COA is a third-party laboratory report confirming the identity and purity of each batch, tested via HPLC and mass spectrometry. Every batch we sell has its own COA linked directly from the product page — you can verify what you're ordering before you buy.

How is purity determined?+

Independent third-party laboratories perform HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and mass spectrometry on each batch. HPLC quantifies purity as a percentage, and mass spectrometry confirms the molecular identity of the compound.

Are your compounds lyophilized?+

Yes. All compounds are supplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder, sealed under inert gas. This format maximizes shelf stability and makes them safe to ship at ambient temperature.

Laboratory Preparation & Storage

How do I prepare my compound for laboratory use?+

Add bacteriostatic water slowly along the vial wall to avoid agitating the lyophilized powder; do not shake — swirl gently until fully dissolved. Exact dilution ratios depend on your specific research protocol. These are general parameters for in-vitro laboratory preparation only and are not instructions for human use or administration.

What is BAC and where do I get it?+

BAC is sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which prevents bacterial contamination in your prepared solution. It is the correct diluent for compound laboratory preparation. We carry it directly — you can add it to your order on our products page.

How should I store compounds before laboratory preparation?+

Store lyophilized compounds in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Refrigeration at 2–8°C is recommended for extended storage. Keep vials sealed until use.

How long does a prepared compound remain stable?+

Once prepared with bacteriostatic water and stored refrigerated at 2–8°C, most compounds remain stable for approximately 4–6 weeks under in-vitro laboratory conditions. Consult the individual COA and peer-reviewed literature for compound-specific stability data. These guidelines are for laboratory research use only.

Shipping & Tracking

How long does shipping take?+

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Transit time depends on the shipping method selected at checkout. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking once your order ships.

Do compounds need cold-pack shipping?+

Lyophilized compounds are stable at ambient temperatures for several days and do not require cold-chain shipping. Sealing under inert gas preserves stability during transit. Once you receive your order, refrigerate promptly.

How do I track my order?+

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with your tracking number. You can also visit certifiedpeps.com/track-order and enter your order number or email — no login required.

Do you ship internationally?+

We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is not available at this time.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?+

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos or video showing the damage before the item is opened or altered. We may provide a replacement or refund at our discretion. See our Shipping & Returns policy for full details.

Account & Privacy

How do I reset my password?+

Use the "Forgot password?" link on the login page. We'll send a reset link to your email address.

Can I update my name or email address?+

Yes. Go to My Account and scroll to the Edit Profile section. Name updates take effect immediately. Email changes require you to confirm your current password, then a verification link is sent to your new address — the change takes effect once you click that link.

How is my payment information stored?+

Payment details are processed directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. CertifiedPEPS only receives a confirmation that the payment succeeded.

Can I delete my account?+

Yes. Contact us through the Contact page and we'll remove your account and personal data. Anonymized order records may be retained as required for accounting and compliance purposes.
